Hi, I’m Ben — a creative director, strategist and copywriter.

I build brands, shape tone of voice, and write words that actually work. Sometimes they win awards. Mostly, they move people — then move the needle.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with the big dogs (Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Tourism Qatar), the destination dreamers (Visit Jersey, London Gatwick), and a few brave brands trying to fix something broken. I’ve helped reposition islands, revive economies, launch £20 million tech funds, and convince tough rooms to back bold ideas.

But I do more than write. I direct campaigns, shape strategy, lead teams, and help founders articulate their big, messy visions. I’ve built my own agency, North Creative, from scratch — and steered teams of freelancers, filmmakers, and marketers through everything from pandemic pivots to national brand launches. I know how to pitch the idea, sell it in, and make it happen.

I think like a strategist, write like a human, and lead like someone who’s been in the room, rolled up their sleeves, and made the chaos make sense.
